Walk For Wheezy 2017 Announced!

Last years event was amazing. Please join us again this year!

We loved having you all with us to help raise money for the Children's Miracle Network.

Walk for Wheezy was a community walk in February 2016 inspired by a little 9 year girl who lost her battle to a rare heart condition she had since birth.  This inspiration was set into motion at her visitation in January, just days after her death, as a Cabot High School Student watched the community pour into the Fine Arts Auditorium to mourn the loss of this precious, little girl.  This student saw, first hand, how such a small girl, with only 1/2 a heart, had such a powerful impact on so many.

It was then and there the dream of Walk for Wheezy was born.  The Community had come together to show their respect, to grieve the loss of Eloise and to share in their pain with others.  Our goal was to have a community walk in the month of February because it is heart month.  It seemed impossible to undertake, but in 5 short weeks, we raised nearly $20,000!

With the help of other students, teachers, volunteers, and our sponsors, the inaugural Walk for Wheezy at the Cabot High School, Panther Stadium was a huge success!   We were able to donate $17,682 to the Children’s Miracle Network to help other children that struggle with the same heart condition as Eloise did.

We have even higher expectations this year for the 2017 Walk for Wheezy!

So join us on February 26, 2017, from 2 to 4pm at Cabot High School's Panther Stadium!

Help us make a difference in the life of a child.
